Hi all! I am really trying to lose some weight, but everywhere I go, I have the temptation to drink a soda, or eat that chocolate. Is it okay, if I only have three sodas a day, instead of seven or more? i am trying to wean my body off it. Does anyone have any ideas of how i can stick to this losing weight thing? I am not healthy, and am on my way to a heart attack or stroke. PLEASE, if anyone has any comments or helpful tips that would be great.

Hello Amanda,
Congratulation on cutting back on your soda! That’s a good step to the right direction. Do you think that you could drink DIET soda instead a regular one? It would cut back a lot of calories.
How often do you eat chocolate? When do you have a cravings? Try to drink a hot chocolate instead. The best is to make your own - cocoa, fat free milk and Splenda ( instead sugar).
Good luck and stay on the right path,
Marcela
