Balance Exercises Yes or No?

ball-and-mat.jpgSome people, even some trainers are criticizing training on balance boards, Swiss ball, Bosu and other unstable apparatus. I’m in big favor of utilizing them. Why?

Balance equipment, used properly, is one of the most powerful pieces of training equipment. Balance boars, foam rollers, beam and other tools that trainers and therapists can effectively use to improve posture, body awareness, coordination, balance and strength of the stabilizer muscles. The key to getting good results using balance equipment is to have a good understanding of how to use them. Hire trainer who loves these “toys” not hates it. Look around your gym and watch what equipment every trainer use during their Personal Trainings sessions.
