Hello Amanda,

Congratulation on cutting back on your soda! That's a good step to the right direction. Do you think that you could drink DIET soda instead a regular one? It would cut back a lot of calories.
How often do you eat chocolate? When do you have a cravings? Try to drink a hot chocolate instead. The best is to make your own - cocoa, fat free milk and Splenda ( instead sugar).

Good luck and stay on the right path,

Hi all! I am really trying to lose some weight, but everywhere I go, I have the temptation to drink a soda, or eat that chocolate. Is it okay, if I only have three sodas a day, instead of seven or more? i am trying to wean my body off it. Does anyone have any ideas of how i can stick to this losing weight thing? I am not healthy, and am on my way to a heart attack or stroke. PLEASE, if anyone has any comments or helpful tips that would be great.

[...] So I didn’t loose as much as I wanted to before the wedding, oh well, nothing I can do about that now. I am now going to really buckle down and try to loose some weight, as it is getting to the point where I either start to loose some or I buy new clothes. And I REFUSE to go buy new clothes for that! This site, on personal training is written by a woman, that seems down to earth, I like that. She has alot of easy diet tips, like “11 easy tips for eating out’. She has alot of help on her blog for losing weight, and talks enough about herself to keep it ‘real’. [...]
